Fortunity is a challenging online game devised in conjunction with EdComs as part of the government funded My Money project, aimed at increasing the financial capability of young people. More on the My Money project below.

Surely the greatest learning website on the planet, Footee "combines fun, football and education". The resource is now owned by the Football Association and is a huge collection of Flash-based learning activities including mini movies and games to motivate children to Learn. Andy and Barbara Seed were main authors for Footee, writing content for the English, Science, Geography sections, plus other subjects.

There has been a fantastic response from teachers to this set of 12 revolutionary interactive online experiments designed to help 7-11 year-olds learn about investigative science. The concept, content and characters were all devised by Canny Books, including the cheeky animated Beepy the robot. There are now three further YSI resources including one with videos to teach design & tech chanllenges.

A major two year project writing KS2 & 3 science materials for this extremely high quality multimedia learning programme, which consists of eLessons containing multimedia presentations, illustrative videos, animations, excellent simulations and interactive exercises and activities.

The E.ON Energy Experience is a major programme for teachers to introduce young people to the theme of energy. Canny Books provided all of the content and ideas for the KS2 section of this innovative project, Energy Town.

Canny Books was commissioned to produce downloadable learning materials to show how Google Search, Maps, Earth, Images and News can be integrated into the curriculum to help bring subjects such as geography, history and citizenship to life.

This major new government road safety site features innovative videos, games, activities, learning resources and more, with the ideas and content for the over-7s section produced by Canny Books.

The fun way to learn about how colds and other viruses spread, Sneeze Safe is a colourful online site aimed at children aged 4-6 to help them use tissues correctly. Canny Books devised a set of web games and enjoyable activities to grab the attention of youngsters and make learning fun.

Major public investment has gone into this site which provides joined up thinking for personal finance education in UK schools. Andy Seed was a main author and consultant for the project, writing many of the resources for the secondary level and developing new ones for 2010.

This cutting edge project for the QIA centred on producing an interactive resource for students considering careers in Creative and Media industries. Creative Village, built in association with Desq, includes branching conversations with practitioners which act as helpful virtual interviews.

Food Quest is a healthy eating resource for ages 7-11 which includes games, quizzes, information and classroom activities based on the science curriculum. Canny Books developed the content and interactive concepts for this project in conjunction with EdComs.

Andy Seed carried out extensive research and visited a number of museums, sites and technology collections before developing a set of resources to help children learn about the history of telecommunications.

The aim here was to introduce urban children to various aspects of the countryside by focusing on rural jobs. Andy Seed, working with EdComs, devised a set of animations, videos, pictures, information, facts, flash games and resources/activities for teachers to bring alive the countryside through the web.

This exciting KS3 'eco-project' involved students working with professional designers to come up with creative ideas to reduce their school's water consumption. Working with Southern Water, we helped to develop an online water calculator to enable schools to map their water footprint, and developed resources to help teachers make the project work.

This online role-playing adventure game with an RE theme was created for the BBC Jam (formerly Digital Curriculum) service by Desq with Andy Seed providing the ideas, content and direction for the project. The Jam service was withdrawn by the BBC in 2007 after a legal challenge by commercial media companies.
